El Pueblo Carlsbad sits in the heart of La Costa Town Square at 7720 Rancho Santa Fe Road, across from the shops and a short drive from South Carlsbad State Beach, La Costa Resort, and the Omni La Costa. Whether you're rolling in after a morning at the beach, grabbing dinner after errands at the Town Square shops, or feeding the family between kids' sports, our Carlsbad kitchen has you covered.

We're open early (6am for breakfast burritos) and late (until midnight on Friday and Saturday), with a full menu of the Mexican food that's made El Pueblo a North County institution. Counter-service seating inside, a parking lot outside, and the same fresh-every-day kitchen that feeds our other four locations.

Our Carlsbad menu is the full El Pueblo spread: the signature $1.29 fish taco (fried-to-order, chipotle sauce, cabbage, pico, all day), breakfast burritos from 6am (Super, Steak and Eggs, Machaca, Chorizo, classic Breakfast), enchiladas, carne asada plates, fajita plates, chile rellenos, tortas, quesadillas, and Mexican soups like pozole and chicken tortilla soup.

Feeding a crowd? Our party packs work from our Carlsbad kitchen — make-your-own taco packs, rolled tacos, enchiladas, quesadilla trays, and chips-and-salsa trays for gatherings of any size. Call ahead for catering, or order same-day for pickup.

La Costa families know us as the easy dinner answer — fast enough for a weeknight, cheap enough to feed four kids, and close enough to swing through after Alga Norte Park or Stagecoach. We have a kids menu (kids quesadilla, bean and cheese burrito, rice and beans), horchata and jamaica on tap, and no-fuss counter service so you're never stuck waiting for a check.
